2010 InfoComm Compensation and Benefits Survey

The 78-page report examines the compensation and benefits trends in the audiovisual industry for the U.S. and Canada. It is the 8th survey InfoComm has conducted. InfoComm produces the survey every two years polling AV companies on salaries for 27 specific executive, sales, technical and administrative positions. InfoComm also surveys companies on 21 potential employee benefits.

In 2010, half of the companies reported lower gross revenues in 2009 compared to 2008, but they are positive about the future, with two-thirds expecting to surpass 2009 revenues by a median of nearly 10 percent. Thirty-eight percent trimmed full-time staff in 2009, but 53 percent plan to expand their workforce in 2010 and only nine percent expect to cut staff.

The report is $50 for InfoComm members. It is available for sale in the Show Store at InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas or can be purchased online at www.infocomm.org/store. For inquiries, contact marketresearch@infocomm.org.
