Vancouver, Canada Lunch & Tour
InfoComm International® Invites Architects, Interior Designers and Facilities Managers to an AV Technology Lunch and Tour in Vancouver
Wednesday, September 29, 2010, 12 noon – 2 p.m.
Vancouver Convention Centre
999 Canada Place
Vancouver, BC V6C 0C3, Canada
Audiovisual and control technologies are playing an increasingly important role in the integrated building technology environment. AV and control systems can be used to simplify, automate and integrate all of a building’s environmental and technology systems to facilitate significant energy efficiencies. At the same time, audiovisual displays can be used to educate occupants about a building’s performance — each a key element of the “green building” movement.
As the “greenest” convention centre in North America, learn how the Vancouver Convention Centre is leveraging these opportunities in the quest to be carbon neutral by attending this 2-hour seminar, lunch and building tour, September 29, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The event is free to architects and those allied with the design and construction fields.
AIA architects qualify for 2 AIA/CES Learning Units.
