InfoComm working with major publisher to provide one-stop resource for AV professionals
FAIRFAX, VA — July 20, 2010 — InfoComm International, the leading trade association representing the $70 billion per year commercial audiovisual industry, is working with McGraw-Hill Professional to develop a comprehensive resource to help candidates prepare for the Certified Technology Specialist® (CTS®) exam. The CTS is the only AV credential accredited by ANSI to the 17024 ISO/IEC Standard.

The CTS Certified Technology Specialist Exam Guide will cover all exam content outline objectives and will include objective callouts at the beginning of each chapter, exam tips, and practice questions with in-depth explanations. Featuring more than 300 photos and illustrations, the 816-page book will come with a CD-ROM containing two practice exams and an e-book.
“McGraw Hill’s publication of the CTS Certified Technology Specialist Exam Guide marks an important milestone in the continued development of the CTS credential and the audiovisual industry,” said Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., Executive Director and CEO, InfoComm International. “A major publisher has recognized the importance of the AV industry and InfoComm’s certification by investing in creating the first one-stop resource for preparing for the exam.”
