8:30 a.m.–10:00 a.m. AV-IT Convergence — Audio and Video Over IP
As audio and video make their way onto the network, how will the IT manager respond? Do you have the answers to the IT manager’s many questions? This two-hour seminar delves into the concepts and the math behind multi-cast and uni-cast streams. You will learn to knowledgeably discuss bandwidth and content delivery methods with the IT manager of a project. A brief overview of networking and IP addressing is presented.
10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Digital Signage for AV Professionals
Where is the growth in the AV industry? Digital signage. This class, presented in an easy to understand format, discusses the pieces, parts and functions of a digital signage system. We will explore the simple systems and more elaborate networked solutions. Learn how to discuss and deploy networked and non-networked signage solutions to your clients with confidence.
